You are about to embark on one of the most important days of your life. You will walk down the aisle to be greeted by your loving fiancé and turn to him and vow forever. That’s a big commitment and moments should be absolutely perfect.
Whether it’s just the two of you, an intimate gathering of a few friends or a large party for 300, your wedding should reflect who you are as individuals and who you are as a couple. Sarah Gallardo, dedicated owner and coordinator for SWC Consultants, has vowed that every person she works with is given just that and nothing less.
“A wedding isn’t just about that one day. It’s about the process and planning of it all before then too. It’s about bringing together everything you’ve worked so hard on and envisioned together and then seeing it unfold,” she says. “It’s a special day. You don’t get many more chances to do it like this. It should be exactly how you want it.”
As a wedding planner with well over 100 weddings, Gallardo understands the constraints of budgets and wishes of a bride-to-be.
“I’ve been there, so I know. It’s a big day and everything is a big deal. You should be completely comfortable with whoever is helping you out during that time whether it’s for 12 months of just your wedding day. You should trust this person and be able to tell them anything you need to. That’s why I make it a priority to establish a relationship with every one of my clients.”
SWC Consultants offers several packages to choose from and has something for every bride and ever budget. “Even if a couple only decides to hire me for the day of the wedding I make it a point to be involved as much as possible from the time they sign up until the big day,” she says. “Communication is extremely important in making sure everything goes the way it’s supposed to. I send out monthly e-mails to check how they’re doing and encourage brides to contact me with any questions or concerns they have as many times as they feel necessary. This is my passion and I love helping people out. And to see their happy faces after the day is through is completely worth it. That’s why I do this.”
Gallardo isn’t the only one who has an unconditional passion for weddings on her team.
“When I was looking for assistants I was very specific,” she says. “I wanted others who were like me—eager and organized to give our clients the best. I wanted my team to be leaders and very hands-on. That way you’re not getting just one coordinator and two assistants on your wedding day, you’re getting three event planners who will work together to see it all comes together smoothly.”
